Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
This Sauvignon Blanc is very pale straw in color. Peach pitt, ripe Honeydew melon and Meyer lemon are predominant on the nose and hints of grapefruit and apricot in the finish. This wine is crisp and racy.
Vineyard Notes
This particular wine is quite different from your "grassy" New Zealand style Sauvignon Blanc, it is a more austere wine from the Santa Ynez Valley.
Winemaker Notes
Hand harvested and sorted, these grapes were whole cluster pressed. 100% Stainless Steel Fermented at 60-62 degrees F. No ML Fermentation.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair with spicy cuisine or by itself accompanied by a book (hard cover, soft cover, kindle, or IPad...any will do!)
Other Notes
Best served at 42 degrees F.
